2001 Annual Scientific Meeting - The Node Conference Centre, Hertfordshire

Dr Daphne Varveris receives the Graseby Prize from Mr Chris Hutchison, Managing Director of Graseby Medical LimitedDr Daphne Varveris, Specialist Registrar in Anaesthesia based at the South Glasgow University Hospitals NHS Trust, won the Graseby Prize for the best free paper presented by a trainee anaesthetist. She received her prize from Mr Chris Hutchison, Managing Director of Graseby Medical Limited, assisted by SIVA UK President Dr John Sear.  

Her paper was entitled "Target-controlled infusion of propofol for induction and maintenance of anaesthesia in children using the Paedfusor", and the study was carried out at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow.
