Welcome to the
website of the UK Society for Intravenous Anaesthesia - a forum
for information, education and debate about intravenous anaesthesia, based in the
United Kingdom.
Cambridge Special
Guest Speaker was Professor Steven L Shafer, Professor of
Anesthesiology at Columbia University Medical Centre, New York.
Professor Shafer is Editor-in-Chief of Anesthesia & Analgesia,
Past-President of the International Society for Anesthetic
Pharmacology, and a Vice-President of the World Society for
Intravenous Anaesthesia. He hosted an Advanced PK/PD workshop, and delivered two
lectures; the first on Principles of Pharmacokinetic Modelling,
the second entitled "TCI and the United States of America." CLICK HERE
