bullet Project on flow problems within multi-pump infusion systems  Following reports of undesirable flow behaviour leading to disrupted delivery of therapeutic agents, a survey project was commissioned by DTI through the National Measurement Systems Directorate.  The project aim was to evaluate the nature and extent of these problems within infusion therapy, and then to determine if there is a need for substantive research work in this area. All SIVA UK members were circulated and many provided useful information in their questionnaire returns. Results from this survey, carried out by Brunel University, are now reported and have given a clear indication of the need for a well-defined research project.  The results, report, and proposal for the new research project can be reached through this link.
